The Crew
Dreamtime has a permanent crew of two. The captain is David Hill. Dreamtime is a large yacht and needs a professional hand to manage her properly.
Having said that, David is happy for both the experienced or novice guest to be as involved and "hands on" with the sailing of Dreamtime as they desire.
The Itinerary
We suggest that a vague itinerary be worked out prior to your joining the yacht depending on what type of experience you wish to have. (Please see the form that can be accessed at the bottom of this page.)
Total isolation, port hopping, visiting the magnificent archeological sites, shopping - is all possible.
Accomodation
Master Cabin: Stern
Generous double bed and single bed.
Ensuite bathroom with lavatory and shower.

Starboard Cabin:
Double bed (small).
Ensuite bathroom with lavatory and shower.

Portside Cabin:
Double bed (small) or two single bunks.
Ensuite bathroom with lavatory and shower.

The forward cabin is the crew quarters.
Service
Full service is provided on Dreamtime with cabins and ensuites cleaned and made up each day.
Breakfast and lunch, morning and afternoon teas, and pre dinner drinks are fully prepared and served by the staff.
It is customary for guests to dine in the evenings ashore. It is assummed that only 2 or 3 dinners a week will be servered aboard. Please let the crew know by lunch time if you wish to eat onboard. An additional $35 per person will be incurred.

Guests will be asked for more detailed information on these issues once the charter process proceeds.
What to Wear
What you bring will to some extent depend on what you plan to do but smart casual dress is the most you will need in going ashore and swim suits and a hat should cover most other times.
Transport
Arrangements can be made to pick you up anywhere in Greece depending on your preferred itinerary, the boats location and it's plans for the season.

We can organise your pick up and transfers from the airport to the marina (where ever you choose to join us) and also any hotel accommodation you might want.
Communications
There are a full range of modern communications available on the yacht if you need to keep in contact with the rest of the world or it needs to find you - and you will find that mobile phones work in most of Greece.
Currency
There are frequent "hole in the wall" cash dispensers that accept all major credit cards in all ports of the Mediterranean.
Length of Charter
Any length of charter from 7 days to the several weeks is negotiable. The yacht is available between the beginning of May to the end of October.
Charter Rates Cover :-
  • Breakfast & Lunch
  • Engine and generator fuel for an average of 4 hours per day
  • Transit log charges
  • Port fees
Charter Rates Do Not Cover :-
  • Evening Meals (Charged at AUS$35 per person per day)
  • Transits between Greece & Turkey - if applicable.
  • Alcohol
  • Tipping of the crew. (It is customary in the Mediterranean to tip approximately 10% of the charter cost at the completion of the holiday.)
